My references

I'm the beginner in photography, therefore apart from practise more, i did buy some books to learn. Both in Mandarin.

The Photographer's Eye. This is a book that talk about composition.

Colour composition.
Placement.

Basic DSLR book.
Talk about right exposure.
The depth of field
Aperture
The equipment, like external flash.

The DSLR

The beauty of editting.

I normally don't edit my photo as I don't know how to do it.
I have recently found out that the editting function in Picasa is very user friendly and easy to use. I therefore try out. And surprisingly, some of the photos that I thought is uncurable is back to life.

This is a photo i snap when i was in Hainan Island. It was quite boring and the colour is not attractive at all when i view it from my laptop.

After little touch up, i'm surprise to see the photo now look much better. Although its still not perfect, but i thought, its "acceptable" now.

I snap this photo when walking to our car. It was just a random snap which i never expect it to be good one.
After editting, the photo looks more interesting. Of course, there are so many more to improve, but at least its better now.
Editting do save some photo, and turn it "on", but adding colour and contrast is my border line, I just felt that cropping photos is actually "abusing" the function.

Bukit Jalil

It was already dawn when i reach Bukit Jalil Park, the sky was a bit cloudy also. I set my whitebalance to "shade" and start shooting.
I feel that the 2 flowers is chatting.
The path on top of the hill.
Thats the Bukit Jalil Stadium.
I quite like this.
Resting on leaf.
Flower is my home. says little grasshopper.
The funny looking "mushroom"
The fall.

This is really a nice place to practice, not too much crowd that I can take my own sweet time to occupied the path to adjust my setting, and there are really many things more ro explore there. I was there for about 1 hour only, and the night start to fall. so i have no choice but to pack my things and go back.

Line of leaves.

Saw this plant, and i intended to snap the stretch of leaves. However the result wasn't that satisfying. Perhaps, i should keep the back ground cleaner, or the background blurer to make the subject stand out more.

Its Hong Kong again.

This is my third time to Hong Kong.
Because Hong Kong was my first oversea trip back in 2005, i love Hong Kong very much. And somehow couldn't resist if there is some cheap tickets promotion.

Hong Kong Tsim Tsa Tsui, the star avenue.

Newly wed couple taking photos.
The breath taking night view in Hong Kong. I love it so much. Thats why the peak is a never missed place every time i went Hong Kong.
The busy street.
The quiet park

The morning Mongkok.

Somewhere outskirt.

The mouth watering noodles.
The fishing village, Tai O

I really like Hong Kong. Like the food, like the environment there. I will definitely visit HK again, despite been here for so many times.
