Macau, 2nd day and 3rd Day

We wake up a bit late, but fully charged.
So we went off to find the Congee shop that we had taken down earlier from a website.
We pass by the Senado square again, and it was a leisure morning.

While we are looking for the shop, we were pulled by the smell of the Chee Chong Fun stall, and we decided take a pre-breakfast snack.
This is what we ordered. The sauce was nice, they mix some peanut sauce in which make the taste even better.
After the pre-breakfast snack, we continue looking for the congee shop. Which is somewhere near here.
We had the appetizer, the century egg. Which is nice.

Due to the chee cheong fun that we had earlier, we only order one bowl of congee. Lucky we did that because the bowl of congee was huge with 8 huge meat balls. The congee was really nice, the best i ever had, and recommended to add an egg to enhance the taste. A must try in Macau.

After the breakfast, we decided to walk to the Ruin of St Paul. And pass by the market. Thats the temple we pass by while walking to the Ruin of St Paul.
Thats the senado Square again.
This is the Souvenier Street.
At the end of the Souvenier street, stood the Ruin of St Paul.

From the Ruin of St Paul, we head to the Monte Fort, where the Macau Museum stood.

The macau town is visible from here. And the grand lisboa.

The border gate.

Macau :14 June 2009 16 June 2009

1st June 2009, my sister told me that there is cheap flight ticket to Macau. To and fro only cost RM 120. Being a big fan of travelling, I quickly book online, and two weeks later, on the 14th June 2009, 6.30am, I'm flying to Macau.
After a 4 hours flight, I reaches Macau. And this is Senado Square, the heart of Macau.
Since its a Sunday, was a bit crowded, and was raining.
We had our first meal in Macau, a little restaurant selling beijing dumpling in Macau. It only cost me about HKD 28 for this meal. After meal, we are off to Taipa. We get down from the bus at this road. My UV filter is foggy. And this is what i got using a foggy filter. We saw this staircase and just walk up.

It lead us to a Church. and at the back of the church, there're many Lotus.
There is a nice path there.

A beautiful green house.

There is bride taking photos. Weather was quite moody, so we left the place and walk to the town. We pass by some nice roads. Our destination. "Gun Ya Street" 官也街。

This is the best Tou Fu Fa i ever had, from the famous Mok Yee Kei. Its so smooth.

We were tired and decided to rent a bicycle. HKD 20 per hour. We started the Bicycle ride, the first destination, the Tien Hou Temple.

We ride along this road. and reaches a nice square.

We took a 20 minutes rest here. And continue our ride. We ride back to the shop and return the bicycle. Then continue walking around. And along the way, I saw some nice old style house.

We were really tired by then and decided to take a bus from here.

We went back to Macao, and look for the address of the restaurant that we take down from a website. After a long walk in the afternoon, beer is a must.

They are famous for this, the fried kuay teow with beef. I don't take beef, but my sister said its really tender, the kuay teow was really great also.

The fried oyster with eggs and fried clam is really nice. The dinner cost us HKD 125. Which in my opinion, worth for the price.

We then walk back to to our hotel, and pass by this nice little road. Its called Love Lane (戀愛巷)

We were really tired, and fall asleep almost immediately after we take our bath in the hostel, preparing for the second day's trip.
