Vientiane and Nong Khai

Its our 2nd day in Vientiane. Today, we'll go to Nong Khai, a small town at northern Thailand.

This is the border. I did ask the local people, can i WALK to Nong Khai Immigration as its only 2KM distance. The answer is no. We still have to take a bus from the Vientiane Immigration.

After leaving Lao-Thai friendship bridge, we went to the Buddha Park. I don't normally take picture on the buddha statue. so, i only manage to capture this.

This is Nong Khai. And this is the only place that we shop in Nong Khai, quite some good bargain.

Had our lunch here. The price is much cheaper here.
